SHOW CAVES OF CANTABRIA

National Museum Cave of Altamira (Santillana del Mar)
Because of the deterioration of the cave due to the large number of visits, the Altamira National Museum and Research Center has been built, which has an exact replica of the cave. Since 2015 it is possible to visit the original cave, but only for a group of five people per week.
In 2016 the replica of the cave had more than 285,000 visitors.
